JULES HAY DUE TO RELEASE THE FIRST SINGLE, 'SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST' FROM HIS DEBUT ALBUM 'FROM LONDON TO LITTLE LONDON.' ON JUNE 5TH 2020.
Having finished mixing and mastering the album From London to Little London, Jules Hay is sheduled to release his first single from the album, Survival Of The Fittest. This track was recorded in April after being composed by Jules whilst in lockdown in Londrina, Brazil.
'I was finding myself in a stranger and stranger situation by the day as the COVID-19 Pandemic started to arise in Brazil during March.' Reported Jules. 'Having had the tour cancelled, the most natural thing, seemed to be to write from my quarantine, and use the time productively and extend the album.'
When it was deemed safe to get in the studio, Jules recorded Survival Of The fittest, along with another track written in quarantine in late April. The two bonus tracks feature Elthon Dias on drums.
'I decided to release this track first as it represents the situation we are all in at the moment. The title came from the fact that, as a human species, we are still very fragile and answerable to the laws of nature. With our technology and advanced societies, we sometimes forget that fact, and this pandemic has come along and reminded us that it is very much a reality.'
